Director of Basketball Operations & Coach
-Breana Robbins
Bre is a lifelong basketball player with years of experience competing at the AAU level and a strong foundation in high-level player development. During her high school career, she earned multiple accolades, including being nominated for the DiRenna Awards and being selected to the MO-KS All-Star Team as a Missouri player. Her performance led to multiple college offers, and went on to attend Pittsburg State University.

Today, she brings that competitive background and deep knowledge of the game into coaching and mentoring young athletes. Her focus is on skill development, basketball IQ, and building confident players who are prepared for what comes next, beyond recreational basketball. She coaches with a Next Rep mentality—teaching athletes to respond, improve, and compete at a higher level every time they step on the court.
What we want for girls basketball
For many girls, basketball starts in recreational leagues — but the path forward isn’t always clear. Families often reach a point where their daughter wants to keep playing, keep improving, and be challenged, yet there’s a noticeable gap between rec programs and higher-level competition.

For Girls Hoops was created to be that bridge.

Together, we saw a need for an environment where girls can continue developing both on and off the court — learning the game the right way, building confidence, and understanding what comes next without being rushed or overlooked. Not every athlete is ready for elite competition immediately, but every athlete deserves quality instruction, encouragement, and a clear developmental pathway.

Our focus is on:
-
Strong fundamentals and basketball IQ
-
Confidence, resilience, and leadership
-
Teaching girls how to grow through effort and repetition
-
Creating competitive opportunities that still feel supportive and accessible
-

We believe progress isn’t defined by wins or rankings at a young age — it’s built through consistency, mindset, and a love for the game. That’s why everything we do is rooted in a Next Rep mentality: learning from each experience, adjusting, and continuing to move forward.
For Girls Hoops exists to help girls stay in the game longer, grow stronger through it, and feel prepared for whatever level comes next — in basketball and beyond.
